After your big exams the last thing that you want to do is pick up a pen and paper so it’s very important to make sure that you relax and enjoy that long summer that you now have before you start a new chapter in September.
- Have A Party
Invite all of your closest friends over and enjoy yourselves. Go wild! This is the night which you have been waiting for. You can do whatever you want as there is nothing, LITERALLY nothing that you have to get up for tomorrow. No revision, no exam, no nothing. So spend your time how you want.
- Visit Your Friends/Relatives
If you have friends or relatives who don’t live close to you when why not take this opportunity to be independent and get the train there on your own. This may seem daunting but you’ll learn many things that you could not if you went with other people.
- Go Abroad
If you have the opportunity to go abroad then take it. If not, don’t fear! Try something new in your own country. Camping, climbing or sailing; whatever you have not tried. Make sure you take lots of photos and tweet them to me at @IzzyBradshaw98.
- Improve Your Language Skills
This one is more relevant to those who are planning on doing a language at a higher level but if not you can always start! Try to visit the country of the language that you are studying as this will really help you when you begin and you won’t have forgotten all of the vocab that you learnt before.
- Relax And Enjoy It
This one is pretty self-explanatory but just make sure that you don’t push yourself too hard over the summer because otherwise you’ll have no motivation to restart again but don’t forget how to write (that’s never good).
