Coffee Morning – Fundraising Event One

On Saturday 5th December I hosted my first fundraising event –  a coffee morning. There was plenty of choice from cakes to biscuits, such as: a victoria sponge, lemon drizzle cake, scones, pumpkin pie and ginger biscuits. The coffee morning was so much more successful than I originally thought as predicted that I’d make around £100 (if that) but I managed to raise £232 in total! It was a great start to the £6,200 that I need to raise but this has put me in a good starting position.
